The Parish Council are holding a public information event on proposals for improvements to the roads in Stradbroke.
The information will include details on the following:
20mph zone
Double yellow lines at the junction of Queen St and Church St
Village gateways at the entrances to the 30mph zones
30mph repeater signs on the roads
Build-outs (road narrowing to slow vehicles)
To enable a 20mph zone to be considered it is very important to demonstrate that there is local support for it. Therefore, resident will have the opportunity to review all the information available, including estimated costs to the village, and comment on the options presented. These comments will be used as evidence of village support for the council to pursue the options with Suffolk County Council.
The recently completed Parish Infrastructure Investment Plan (PIIP) will also be available to view.
