Planning Committee

The Planning Committee is a committee of the Parish Council.  Committees are bound by the Council's  standing orders.  The Planning Committee  currently has no delegated powers, it  reviews planning matters and produces recommendations for the Parish Council.  Meetings are required to held in public.

Personnel Committee

The Personnel Committee is a committee of the Parish Council. Committees are bound by the Council's standing orders.  As the Personnel Committee deals with confidential matters, meetings may not be held in public.  The Committee has some delegated authority to approval council policies.

Finance & Premises Committee

The Finance & Premises Committee is a committee of the Parish Council.  Committees are bound by the Council's standing orders. The Committee currently has delegated authority to approve expenditure up to £1,000 and some policies. The Committee agrees draft budgets for council approval and reviews the accounts. They also make recommendations to the Council on other financial matters. Meetings are required to be held in public.

Working Groups

Working Groups are established by the Parish Council to undertake one off projects.  Working Groups are usually appointed as a "task and finish" group with a defined purpose and are dissolved once the task has been carried out, or a defined lifetime of the group has been reached. Working groups have no delegated powers and cannot incur expenditure or carry out works without seeking authority from the Parish Council. They do make recommendations to the Council. Meetings are not required to be held in public.  They are subject to the Council's policies, such as GPDR and Data Protection
