As no election has been called to fill the vacancy that exists following the resignation of Gillian Rennie-Dunkerley, the Parish Council are hoping to co-opt a new Councillor at the meeting in August.

In a recent article the Parish Council Chairman, James Hargrave, wrote that: "It would be great to see some more diversity amounts Councillors, in particular it would be good to see younger people on the Council, as this is a group which is very under represented currently."
